Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week night shift travel contract in North Carolina.

Details
  • Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department setting
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:30 AM
  • 2 weekend shifts (or 4 weekend days) required per 6-week period
  • Holiday coverage required as needed
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Epic EMR experience is mandatory
Requirements
  • Active NC or Compact RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, and TNCC
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department required
  • Epic EMR experience is mandatory
  • Previous Charge RN experience preferred
  • Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • All RNs are required to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, regardless of specialty โ€” two attempts are allowed
  • Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences is enforced
