Requirements:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience
  • First-time travelers must have 3 years of specialty experience
  • BLS certification (Required)
  • ACLS certification (Required)
  • NIHSS certification (Required)
  • Experience with:
    • Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
    • Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
    • EKG testing

Description:
Prisma Health is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on the HMH Med Surg/Tele unit. This night shift position cares for adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, bariatric, and telemetry needs. Nurses should be proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response. The unit has a daily census of approximately 20 patients with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 on nights. Candidates must be flexible to float to other hospitals within the system, and Epic experience is preferred.
