Job description

Maintenance Technician

Pay: $22-23/hr + On-Call Pay + Performance Bonuses
Schedule: Monday–Friday + rotating on-call
Location: Appleton, WI 54911
Reports to: Service Tech Leader
At Focus Property Management, we’re building something different — faster than the way your packages show up from Amazon, and smoother than any “standard” property management experience you’ve ever seen. Our service team isn’t an afterthought. They’re the difference. They’re the reason residents stay. They’re the reason we win.
Around here, you own your region. Your work actually shows. Your results are visible.

And yes — we pay for performance. If you take pride in your work, this is where it pays off.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Diagnosing and solving real problems — leaks, locks, lights, heat, the classics.
  • Keeping buildings sharp, safe, and running right.
  • Working directly with residents — being the one who gets it done.
  • Partnering with teammates and trusted vendors.
  • Rotating on-call to respond fast — and earning extra when you do.
What You Bring to the Table
  • A solid work ethic. Show up, own your day, finish what you start.
  • General maintenance or mechanical experience (or the drive to learn fast).
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • The ability to lift, move, climb, and get into tight spaces when needed.
  • Pride in craftsmanship.
What’s In It for You
  • $25/hr base + on-call pay + performance bonuses
  • Health, dental, vision, life, accident, short-term disability insurance
  • PTO and a Monday–Friday schedule
  • Training that actually makes you better, not just busy
  • Career growth (yes, we promote from the inside — constantly)
  • Coaching in personal finance and real estate investing
because we want you to build your life, not just your résumé.
Who You’ll Work With
A crew of high-ownership, high-pace people who don’t need handholding or pep talks to care. No micromanaging. No babysitting. No “do the bare minimum until 5pm.” We move with purpose. We celebrate wins. We recognize effort. If you show up ready to work, you’ll fit right in. If you coast, you’ll stand out — quickly.
