  • Holiday on-call rotation every 13th holiday
Position Summary
St. Paul Elder Services is seeking a dependable and compassionate Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments, activities, and special events, as well as provide transportation for Club Gabriel participants to and from their primary residences. This position plays an important role in ensuring our residents receive safe, reliable, and courteous transportation while supporting their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and special events.
  • Provide transportation for Club Gabriel participants to and from their primary residences.
  • Assist residents and participants with entering and exiting the vehicle safely when needed.
  • Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and dignity throughout each trip.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate transportation records and schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Participate in the on-call and holiday rotation schedule.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, infection prevention, and workplace safety guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to safely assist older adults with mobility needs.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
