Job description

Texas Health Hughley is seeking a Nocturnist to join their Hospitalist Team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves working exclusively overnight shifts, delivering exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on providing better healthcare and making a lasting impact on the community.

Practice Info

  • Well-established team of 23 physicians and 4 APPs, supported by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals.
  • Integral part of the hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
  • EMR is EPIC.

Responsibilities

  • Work exclusively overnight shifts.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
  • Handle an average of 12 admissions per night.
  • Work with an APP on at night taking cross coverage calls.
  • Work with a Swing MD for the first part of the shift.
  • No procedures.

Compensation

  • Day Shift Rate of $1,400 and Night Shift Rate of $1,725.
  • Nocturnist base salary of $314,813.
  • Eligible for RVU and Quality bonus.

  • Full Benefits, including CME allowance.

Shift & Schedule

  • Working nights, 7 pm-7 am.
  • 7 days on/7 days off schedule.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule.
  • Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine only.
