Tower Climber / Tower Technician - Keyport, NJ Area

Location: Keyport, NJ (and surrounding New Jersey areas)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (starting, based on experience)


Job Overview

We are looking for reliable and motivated Tower Climbers / Tower Technicians to join our growing team in the Keyport, NJ area. This is a great opportunity for candidates with tower climbing experience or those willing to learn and get properly trained. Work involves installation, maintenance, and repair of communication towers, antennas, coax, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Climb towers and elevated structures to install, maintain, and repair antennas, waveguides, coax cables, and microwave systems.

Perform rigging, equipment handling, and site work safely and efficiently.

Troubleshoot and test systems as needed.

Travel occasionally for projects.

Be available for weekend or emergency work when required.

Follow all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company procedures.

Requirements

Prior tower climbing experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.

Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a team.

Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Certifications (e.g., ComTrain, OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR) are a plus but not required to start.
