Job description

Ultrasound Tech

Position: Ultrasound Tech. Shift requirements include 3 twelve-hour shifts plus rotating on-call nights and weekends. Weekend requirements are on-call only, rotating every other weekend. Holiday schedule involves rotating on-call duties. Unit uses Samsung US machines. HIS/RIS system is Meditech, and PACS is NovaPACS. The role involves working with offsite radiologists. The typical patient load is 12-15 patients per day. Jewelry must be kept to a minimum while on duty. Visible face and body piercings, except for traditional ear piercings and small nose studs, are not permitted while on duty.
