CRAFT SHOP - Volunteer Instructor
Multiple Volunteers September 2026-January 1, 2027
10-week commitment within this timeframe
Share your creativity by teaching arts and crafts to guests of all ages and abilities. Activities may include:
  • Pottery painting
  • Tie-dye
  • Ceramics
  • Mosaics
  • Leatherwork
  • Jewelry making

Provide excellent customer service while assisting multiple guests through the creative process. Help keep the Craft Shop clean, organized, and welcoming.
HOUSEKEEPING - Crates
2 Volunteers October-December
Minimum 10-week commitment
Help keep Housekeeping operations running smoothly by ensuring the team has the supplies needed for daily cleaning operations.
FOOD SERVICE
3-5 Volunteers September 15-December 31
Minimum 10-week commitment
Help create a welcoming dining experience for staff and guests. Responsibilities include:
  • Greeting and assisting staff and guests in dining halls
  • Ensuring staff are wearing required badges
  • Providing friendly, helpful, and professional service

We are looking for personable, patient, and dependable volunteers who enjoy working with people.
STORE CLERK

Provide friendly customer service while operating the register, stocking merchandise, and maintaining attractive displays. Help create a welcoming and organized shopping experience for guests.
HISTORY GUIDE
November-January Minimum 8-week Commitment
Lead engaging history tours while sharing the rich heritage of Estes Park Center. Help preserve and showcase the history of the YMCA of the Rockies.
PROGRAMS DESK ATTENDANT
Flexible Agreement Dates Minimum 8-week Commitment
Provide friendly customer service at the Programs Office, assisting guests with information, activity sign-ups, and program questions. Help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest.
MUSEUM HISTORY GUIDE
Mid-November-January
Lead engaging history tours and share the rich heritage of the YMCA of the Rockies. Provide excellent guest service while supporting historical research, programs, and exhibits.
BUILDING & GROUNDS
October 2026-May 2027
Help maintain and improve Estes Park Center through hands-on projects. Opportunities may include:
  • Wood Shop projects
  • Grounds maintenance projects
  • Snow removal
