- Shift / Schedule: Day (3x12 Hours), Variable Start Times: 7:00, 9:00; may need to cover one night shift within contract as needed

Job Summary
This is a
travel contract Operating Room RN position at an acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. Applicants must have trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience due to the facility's trauma status. The position requires weekend availability and on-call participation, with call distributed equally amongst all nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, with specialization in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho cases
- Cover on-call shifts as required; call will be distributed equally amongst all nursing staff every 6 weeks, which could be up to 6-8 shifts in a 6-week period (including nights, evenings, and weekends/8 hrs)
- May need to cover one night shift within the contract as needed
- Float between like units as required
- Work weekends as required
Required Skills
- Trauma experience (required per facility trauma status)
- Neuro OR experience
- Vascular OR experience
- Ortho OR experience
- Ability to work variable start times (7:00 and 9:00)
- Availability for on-call shifts, including nights, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to float between like units
- Charting proficiency in Epic
Education Requirements
- Active RN License required (pending license not accepted)
- BLS Certification required

- Minimum 2 years of experience required
