The Banquet Bartender plays an essential role in delivering exceptional beverage service during events, creating a dynamic and engaging guest experience. This position ensures all beverages are prepared and served with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. The role contributes directly to memorable events by combining product knowledge, efficiency, and intuitive guest service. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a passion for hospitality.
About the role:
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality beverage service during banquet events while ensuring compliance with service standards and local alcohol regulations. This role supports the Banquets team by preparing drinks, maintaining bar setup and inventory, and delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout each event. This position is part of the Banquets team, reporting to Food & Beverage Management.
What you will do:
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests and team members
  • Set up, maintain, and break down bar areas for events, ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • Stock bar with liquor, wine, beer, glassware, garnishes, and supplies before and during service
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage offerings and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and company alcohol service regulations
  • Maintain accurate and efficient use of point-of-sale systems and guest checks
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
  • Assist with inventory, restocking, and maintaining proper par levels
  • Support banquet operations and assist other Food & Beverage areas as needed
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational standards

What you bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Previous bartending or food & beverage experience preferred (minimum 6 months)
  • Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional presentation and guest-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Ability to learn and operate POS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
