Overview
Vista Aircraft Maintenance Red Wing is seeking to hire an Aircraft Maintenance Technician - A&P Mechanic in western Wisconsin, less than 45 minutes from the St. Paul area. Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for Vista Members' unrivaled fleet of over 300 aircraft worldwide, including light, super mid-size, long-range, and ultra-long-range models, with maintenance hubs strategically located across the U.S. and Europe.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P Mechanic) will join a team of experts dedicated to the maintenance of Vista's fleet. This team supports our commitment to delivering the highest quality in private aviation by ensuring consistent design, amenities, configurations, and connectivity across all aircraft.
This role reports to the Accountable Manager and is 100% onsite. This is a full-time position, and hours of work are 7am to 5:30pm (four 10-hour shifts) and one weekend per month (subject to change).
A&P Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Citation, Gulfstream and Challenger aircraft.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.
  • Document all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA and company procedures.
  • Conduct operational and functional tests on aircraft systems to verify proper performance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Travel may be required for maintenance support at various locations.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Required).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a Part 145 repair station (Highly Preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed.

Additional Requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Proficiency in the Windows operating environment
  • Physical capability to work in tight spaces, at heights, on-wings, use ladders, operate tugs, operate lifts, and lift weights up to 75lbs
  • Travel may be required
