Job description

Waterjet Programmer / Operator

Full-Time | Day Shift

Overview

We are seeking a Waterjet Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate waterjet cutting equipment. Experience with OMAX systems is preferred, though candidates with similar CNC programming backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Program and operate waterjet cutting machines.

  • Optimize nesting and material usage.

  • Modify CAD files and drawings as needed.

  • Monitor production and perform quality inspections.

  • Troubleshoot machine and programming issues.

  • Coordinate workflow to ensure efficient production.

Qualifications
  • Experience with CNC programming and operation.

  • OMAX experience preferred.

  • CAD/CAM and drafting experience strongly preferred.

  • Background in metal fabrication and sheet metal is a plus.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
