Chappaqua CSD is looking for thoughtful and knowledgeable educators to serve in the probationary position of Elementary Teacher - Social Studies at Robert E. Bell Middle School effective September 2, 2026.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Fosters a welcoming classroom environment that nurtures emotional well-being and a sense of belonging.
  • Uses NYS standards educational research to inform instructional practices.
  • Uses formative assessments to gauge student understanding.
  • Has experience with evidence-based social-emotional learning strategies to promote emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the RULER approach is preferred.
  • Uses knowledge of students and student performance when planning lessons.
  • Infuses culturally relevant practices to ensure that lessons reflect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all students.
