Job description

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GREAT CARE CHANGES LIVES?

At The Gardens at Quail Springs, we do more than provide assisted living and memory care - we create a place where seniors thrive, families exhale, and the people who show up to do this work are truly valued.

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled LVN or LPN to join our Wellness team on a PRN weekend basis. If you are a nurse who genuinely loves working with seniors, takes pride in your clinical skills, and wants to be part of a community where people come first - we want to meet you.

PRN weekend shifts are a great fit for nurses seeking flexibility without sacrificing meaningful, purpose-driven work. Every weekend, you will be the clinical presence our residents and families count on.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be the clinical heartbeat of our community on the weekends - the nurse residents and families trust, and the teammate your colleagues count on.

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to assisted living residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders
  • Perform physical assessments and identify changes in resident condition - then act on them
  • Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Provide resident and family education with patience and clarity
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Uphold infection control standards and resident rights - always
  • Step into a clinical lead role as needed in the absence of the Director of Resident Care

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Active LVN or LPN license in the State of Oklahoma (required)
  • 1+ year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting (required)
  • Weekend availability on a PRN / as-needed basis (required)
  • Experience in geriatric care, emergency care, or first aid (strongly preferred)
  • Alzheimer's / dementia care experience or training in Validation Therapy (a plus)
  • A genuine heart for seniors and the aging journey
  • Strong communication skills - with residents, families, physicians, and peers
  • The ability to make sound, independent decisions under pressure
  • A team player who shows up, follows through, and lifts others up

WHY THE GARDENS AT QUAIL SPRINGS?

We are proudly owned and operated by Surpass Senior Living - which means you will never get lost in a corporate system. You will be known here. Supported here. Valued here.

Here you will find:

  • A warm, mission-driven team that genuinely cares about each other
  • A beautiful, well-maintained community in North Oklahoma City near Quail Springs Mall and Mercy Hospital
  • Residents and families who are grateful for the care you give
  • Leadership that is present, communicative, and invested in your success
  • A culture built on Authenticity, Initiative, Perseverance, Excellence, and People
  • Flexibility that works around your life - PRN weekend scheduling with no long-term full-time commitment required
