Plant Safety Manager

If you are looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to making a significant impact on safety and health management within the industrial sector. This full-time role offers the chance to demonstrate leadership, innovation, and expertise in a collaborative environment committed to safety and compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
  • - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company-specific safety standards while leading safety training initiatives.
  • - Conduct both formal and informal safety inspections and monitor workplace safety.
  • - Lead accident investigations, complete root cause analyses, and handle related reporting.
  • - Collaborate with management and contractors to maintain high safety performance standards.
  • - Oversee health clinic interactions and manage the Medical Surveillance Program.

**Qualifications:**
  • - Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally related to safety, health, or science, or a high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • - Minimum 5 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in power plants or similar environments.
  • - Proficient in OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations and have a working knowledge of safety protocols in industrial settings.
  • - Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred.
  • - Physical capability to perform essential job functions, including walking, standing, and lifting.
  • - Well versed to LOTO, fall & rigging protection, etc
