Job description

Overview
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on oil and gas production facilities and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position partners with Operations, Engineering, I&E, and contractors to troubleshoot mechanical issues, coordinate maintenance activities, and support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
  • Maintains and repairs production facilities and infrastructure.
  • Coordinates with Operations, Engineering, I&E;, EH&S;, and contractors.
  • Performs site inspections and identifies improvement opportunities.
  • Helps reduce operating costs and improve production reliability.
  • Directs and oversees third-party contractors.
  • Develops basic bills of materials for maintenance work.
  • Maintains required documentation and records.
  • Ensures safe, environmentally compliant work practices.
  • Supports regulatory compliance with EH&S; and Air Quality.
  • Uses Microsoft Office and maintenance software.

Qualifications
  • Requires 2-5 years of relevant oilfield/construction experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and maintenance background within upstream production operations
  • Experience working safely in operating facilities, including H2S environments when applicable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
