We have an exciting opening for a Maintenance person.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Keep safety as a primary focus by working safely, following safety policies and work instructions, asking for help, promptly reporting safety concerns, and utilizing the Stop & Seek program, as required. 
  • Must maintain a high degree of safety conscientiousness for themselves as well as others.
  • Diagnose and repair production equipment and CNC machinery, to involve but not limited to bearings, spindles, electrical switches, encoders, motors, NC controllers, etc.
  • Work from drawings, sketches, specifications, and instruction manuals.
  • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance activities.
  • Dismantle and reassemble machines undergoing repairs and overhauls.
  • Responsible for maintaining the facility equipment.
  • Use proper tools of the trade necessary for the job task.
  • Engage in waste reductions/cost avoidances activities.
  • Perform all required work to rig, move or erect all types of machine tools and equipment for plant layout changes.     
  • Maintain and assure proper operation of wastewater treatment.
  • Assist and/or train all other employees in the department as needed.
  • Promote and practice 5S + Safety approach by keeping work area neat, clean, and organized, and following safety and housekeeping rules. 

  • Maintain Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers, Multi-Spindle Lathes, and Bar Feeders. 

  • Positively support change initiatives by actively contributing to and participating in lean principles and Kaizen events. 

  • Positively and actively contribute to High Performance Teams (HPTs) by participating in team improvement boards (TIB) reviews, problem solving and task completion.

  • Be a respectful team player and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members and supervision. 

  • Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.

We are looking for talent with the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer completed Apprenticeship in either Maintenance Mechanic or Machine Repair.
  • 5+ years of relevant field experience.
  • Knowledge in either Fanuc, OSP, or Mazatrol
  • Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, ladder diagrams, and electronics, and the ability to read schematics. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal, skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities.

You must be able to:

  • Frequently will lift up to 40 pounds, stand, walk, reach, pull, push, bend, twist, grasp and handle. 
  • Occasionally will sit and kneel. 
  • Work in a moderately loud environment with use of or exposure to chemicals, oils, dirt, fumes, vibration, moving equipment with potential for travel.
