Job description
At Ledcor, we take pride in safety, quality, and craftsmanship, and we're looking for dedicated professionals to join our team for a major expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform pressure welding on piping systems in accordance with ABSA codes, WPS, and project specifications
- Execute SMAW (stick) and GTAW (tig) welding on carbon steel and alloy piping for industrial applications
- Read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, welding procedures, and drawings to ensure accurate work
- Complete fit-up, root pass, fill, and cap welding to meet quality and code requirements
- Support rigging and positioning of pipe using appropriate equipment and safe practices
- Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including hot work permits and lockout/tagout
- Maintain welding rig, tools, and consumables to ensure safe and efficient operation on site
- Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor's high standards for safety and quality
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Welder ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Initial Alberta BPressure Welder Certification is valid
- Additional tickets for welding stainless stee, 304H are preferred by not required
- Provide current DSP (Direct Service Provider) documentation
- Previous industrial construction experience required
- Confined space entry & monitor ticket
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean 3year abstract
- Project online orientations must be completed
Work Conditions:
- Start Date: Mid July 2026
- Work schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off or 5 days on / 2 days off
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
