The Regional Early Engagement Leader drives the early-phase strategy for subsea opportunities across the region. This role identifies and prioritizes opportunities, leads early engagement with customers, and develops comprehensive capture strategies in alignment with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, and Sourcing. By shaping technical, commercial, and execution strategies ahead of ITT release, the leader ensures Baker Hughes is positioned with the most competitive and value-driven solutions.
As a Regional Early Engagement Leader, you will be responsible for:
  • Working closely in alignment with the Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Sourcing and other internal stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Region Segment Directors, SP&S Regional Sales Directors and Geo Zone Directors to ensure opportunities are correctly prioritized and resourced

  • Align with Sales & Commercial global and regional leadership from the earliest feasibility assessments and conceptual studies, into front end design (FEED) through to tender and contract closure

  • Creating and owning Capture plan along with Regional Sales team

  • Work closely with their commercial counterparts to develop and implement commercial strategies to improve and simplify the bidding cycle.

  • Drive Subsea tender strategies.

  • Work closely with Early Engineering and Product Management to deeply understand Product Portfolio and support the deployment of the most competitive and cost-effective solutions.

  • Be visible externally and develop relationship with the industry to understand supply chain movement and subsea environment dynamics

  • Implement a robust operating rhythm using digital systems and tools to monitor opportunity pipeline and developing appropriate strategies aligned to the ITT schedule

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Proven team leadership skills, demonstrated ability to effectively develop, influence and motivate others

  • 7+ Years of experience in Subsea is a must

  • Substantial commercial leadership experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels

  • Change agent with demonstrated ability to drive sustainable change

  • Willingness to travel globally, estimated 25%
