POSITION OVERVIEW
We are hiring two Microsoft Power Apps Lead Developers to support the design and
implementation of enterprise-grade applications that integrate with SAP systems. These
roles will partner closely with Solution Architects (SAs), Business Analysts (BAs), and client
stakeholders to scope, architect, and guide development of high-performing Power Apps
solutions integrated via SAP PI/PO middleware.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in client scoping sessions with the finance team to identify application
requirements and clarify technical needs.
Support SAs during technical discussions involving SAP PI/PO middleware and data
integrations.
Analyze SAP GUI transactions (t-codes/z-codes) and determine scalable alternatives
using CDS views, OData services, and RFC-enabled BAPI modules.
Collaborate with client IT teams to deconstruct transaction logic and design equivalent
service-based integrations.
Translate business prescriptions and system mappings into clear development
specifications for offshore developers.
Lead UI design efforts in Power Apps, including prototyping and demoing solutions to
end-users throughout the development lifecycle.
Perform development in Power Apps and oversee technical quality of offshore
deliverables.
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
Strong experience developing apps with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform.
Hands-on experience integrating Power Apps with SAP systems, especially using SAP
PI/PO, CDS views, OData, and BAPI.
Familiarity with SAP transactional data and functional modules.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
Ability to guide a remote/offshore development team using clear technical
documentation and handoffs.
Experience presenting to end-users and conducting iterative UI reviews/demos.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in manufacturing and/or healthcare domains.
Understanding of SAP middleware architecture and integration best practices.
Prior team lead or hybrid IC/lead experience.
WORK CONDITIONS
Hybrid role based in Chicago, IL (some onsite expected).
40 hours per week; W2 contract.
Collaborative environment with regular client interaction.
