Job description

Overview:

Sign On Bonus $1000.00 - Full Time

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of resident quarters, dining areas, lounges, offices, restrooms, laundry rooms, storage and equipment areas, and all other public and private areas of the facility as scheduled. This position is also responsible for inventory and safe utilization of cleaning supplies and other equipment used for cleaning.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain a safe environment in all designated areas at the community using proper germicide cleaning products and following infection control practices at all times.
  • Clean, vacuum, sweep, and/or mop all floors and carpets.
  • Clean windows and dust blinds and woodwork.
  • Clean resident beds and rooms upon discharge, handling infectious waste appropriately.
  • Maintain work carts, supply closets, and non-motorized equipment; keeping them stocked and clean.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.

Position Requirements

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Licenses/Certifications:  N/A

Experience: None required, prior housekeeping experience preferred

Hours available 

  • Full-time:
    • Morning shift 7:00am to 3:30pm
    • Every other weekend
