Job DescriptionSummary/objective

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office.

Essential functions

  • Manage the daytoday operations of the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and processing paperwork.
  • Supervise and train administrative employees to ensure that they are following procedures and performing their job duties efficiently.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and work with the yard team to ensure inventory levels are accurate
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
  • Manage financial aspects of the business, including invoicing, billing, and possibly creating budgets
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.
  • Manage employee schedules and ensure that staffing levels are appropriate for business needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
