We offer coordinated solutions with both private duty home-care and residential options, counseling and management of assisted living and memory care communities. Homestead is a local answer in a growing industry.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist / Office Administrator with strong computer skills and multi-line phone experience to join our corporate office in Northville. This position will be responsible for answering a multi-line phone for several companies as well as providing administrative support to the corporate office team. This position will work Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm and is 100% in the office.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answer multi-line / multi-company phone system and direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff member or facility
  • Support daily office operations including supply management, mail and deliveries and upkeep on shared spaces
  • Administrative support for corporate team
  • Greet and assist visitors maintaining a friendly and professional front-of-house experience
  • Monitor office equipment and coordinate repairs or improvements with appropriate vendors
  • Order office supplies, uniforms, facility supplies, etc.
  • Conducts general office tasks such as filing, making copies, putting together packets for meetings, etc.
  • Plan and execute in and out of office events, meetings and team gatherings
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Performs other duties and assists other team members as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with pride in maintaining clean and efficient work spaces
  • Strong computer skills
  • Multiline phone experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • High degree of diplomacy in handling sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • The ability to drive results to completion in timeline sensitive environments
