RS Group is looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include, supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation.
To be successful as a warehouse supervisor you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.

Warehouse Lead Responsibilities:
  • Key Responsibilities
     Operate a stand-up and a sit-down forklift at a high-volume pace and doesn't need any additional forklift training to be able to handle the day-to-day operation.
     Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies levels accurate by recording location of inventory, and reporting any shortage/discrepancies or damages.
     Understand the scope of mobile device / RF scan guns
     Help wrap and fix products that have shifted or fallen off pallets.
     Must be able to physically pick/pull and create pallets for outbound orders which may require lifting materials up to 50 lbs. 
     Load and unload trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
     Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
     Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests.
     Support the Warehouse Supervisor  to develop and implement an organizational
    structure to successfully deliver the work of the team.  Including but not limited to Daily management.
     Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
     Execute and support the management and team members with all warehouse operations receiving, put away, pick, shipping, inventory control, and logistics.
     Support team members (account owners if volume greater than standard work or exertion causing additional time in processing (in or out)
     Quality control ( QC) all outbound shipment to assure no miss pick
     As needed liaise with related functions in office, sales and transportation group
     Act as back up for Warehouse Supervisor
    Other Tasks
     Attending training on the subjects of ISO, safety, business controls, etc. and cascade to your team.
     Contribute to other company internal projects.
  • Must be willing to work occasional nights and/or weekends
Warehouse Supervisor Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate. Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • Proficiency in 3PL/Google Suites/Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Standing for long periods of time, able to lift, move, carry up to 50lbs.
