21st CCLC AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
PART-TIME OFFICE CLERK (GRANT FUNDED)
Reports to: Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC Project Director
Terms: Monday through Thursday ~ 12:00 - 3:00 pm (12 hours per week)
Effective September 2026 through June 2027
Job Goal: To support the 21st CCLC Project Director in the efficient organization and operation of the
program by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
1. High School Diploma; college-level coursework in education or related field a plus
2. Excellent communication skills with adults and children
3. Effective computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
4. Ability to speak, write, and translate Spanish (preferred)
5. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Candidates Must Demonstrate:
  1. Attending to student program files, including creating and maintaining student program rosters;
  2. Monitor and record students' daily attendance;
  3. Program data entry to include daily attendance and surveys;
  4. Translate documents (when applicable)
  5. General office duties, including organizing and maintaining program supplies;
  6. Communicate with parents regarding student attendance
  7. Correspond with Site Supervisor to ensure program activities are functioning properly;
  8. All other duties as requested by the 21st CCLC Project Director

Rate of Pay: $28.00 per hour
