Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Office Associate to perform essential administrative, clerical, and front-end duties. In this versatile role, you will split your time between directly assisting customers at the counter and executing crucial behind-the-scenes office tasks, including bookkeeping, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Customer & Front-End Support: Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient service at the customer service desk (handling Western Union, Lottery, Bill Payments, and customer inquiries).
  • Operations & Leadership: Assist in guiding front-end team members to maintain smooth store operations. Serve as the front-end lead during the absence of the Front-End Manager.
  • Basic Bookkeeping: Perform daily financial duties, including verifying cash balances, reconciling tills, and preparing bank deposits.
  • Administrative Tasks: Answer and route phone calls, maintain organized paper and digital files, and utilize standard office equipment and software (word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Compliance & Inventory: Complete regular compliance checks (monthly/quarterly) and monitor/reorder office supplies as needed.
  • General Support: Perform additional office or operational duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with standard office machinery and computer programs (Word, Excel).
  • Prior experience in customer service, retail front-end operations, or basic bookkeeping is a plus.
