Office Assistant

Join the Team at Creative Metal Solutions!

Creative Metal Solutions is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This is a customer-focused position that plays an important role in keeping orders moving smoothly from estimate through completion.

You’ll work closely with an experienced member of our office team who will provide training, guidance, and ongoing support as you learn our processes and responsibilities.

What You'll Do

As our Office Assistant, you'll help manage the day-to-day customer and administrative needs of our office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicating with customers regarding their orders and questions
  • Preparing and emailing customer estimates
  • Processing accepted estimates by creating sales orders and picking slips
  • Providing professional and timely customer correspondence, primarily through email
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Prioritizing multiple customer requests and keeping orders moving forward
  • Paying close attention to details throughout the order process, including pickup/delivery information and sales tax accuracy
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • Completing general office and administrative tasks
  • Looking ahead, anticipating customer and office needs, and staying productive by taking care of other tasks and office organization when estimates are not needed
  • Assisting in Inventory Tracking
  • Knowledgeable in our safety protocol
  • Learning our products, processes, and systems to better assist customers and the production team
