Synergy HomeCare of Northern Indianapolis is seeking a dependable, organized, and technology-comfortable Office Assistant to support daily office operations. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage basic administrative tasks efficiently.  This position will start off part-time at 20 hours per week and can grow into 40 hours per week as the company expands.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on a computer, managing email and calendars, and assisting with scheduling and office communication.

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills

  • Use a computer and various software confidently and efficiently.

  • Ability to access web-based systems and resources.

  • Manage basic email correspondence, including sending, receiving, organizing, and responding to messages professionally.

  • Assist with scheduling and maintaining accurate appointments.

  • Leadership and training for Caregivers and office staff

  • Manage Google Calendar, including:

*Creating calendar events.

*Updating and rescheduling events.

*Inviting participants.

*Sharing calendar events.

*Checking schedules and avoiding conflicts.

  • Maintain organized digital files and information.

  • Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, families, and office staff.

  • Assist with general administrative and clerical duties.

  • Follow established office procedures and maintain confidentiality.
