We are seeking an experienced Office 365 Analyst to own the engineering, service delivery, and operational health of the Microsoft 365 platform across the enterprise. This role serves as the technical authority and day-to-day lead for O365 services, ensuring platform stability, security, adoption, and continuous improvement in partnership with service delivery, security, and end-user support teams.

A Day in the Life

Platform Ownership & Engineering:
Be the technical lead for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related collaboration workloads.
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale O365 configurations aligned with security, compliance, and governance standards.
Evaluate and implement new Microsoft 365 capabilities in coordination with architecture and security teams.

Service Delivery & Operations:
Own operational stability and service performance of O365 services, including incident, problem, and change management.
Ensure clear runbooks, escalation paths, and SLA adherence.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and drive long-term corrective actions.
Governance, Security & Compliance:
Ensure services meet enterprise security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with identity and security teams on access controls, DLP, retention, and eDiscovery.
Establish O365 as a predictable, well-governed enterprise platform rather than a reactive support service.

Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for O365 service reviews.
Work with Microsoft and partners to resolve complex issues and influence roadmap direction.
Provide functional leadership for O365 engineers and managed service partners, setting technical direction, operational expectations, and priorities. 
Hold service providers accountable for service quality, root cause elimination, documentation quality, and continuous improvement

Continuous Improvement & Adoption:
Improve user experience, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Support adoption initiatives and contribute to documentation and standards.

You Bring This Value

Deep hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a large enterprise environment.
Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams in a hybrid environment.
Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), identity integration, and security controls.
Designed and implemented enterprise wide data protection and governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview.
Implemented and fine-tune DLP policies to prevent data exfiltration while minimizing business disruption.
Advanced PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration and engineering.
Proven incident, problem, and change management experience.
Ability to act as a technical lead and influence without direct authority.
Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Knowledge about Digital Signage platforms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft 365, Azure, or Security & Compliance certifications.
Experience in regulated or security-sensitive industries.
Prior experience as an O365 service owner or lead engineer.
