About The Garden Dispensary

The Garden is proud to serve Ohioโ€™s adult-use cannabis community with a commitment to

education, compliance, and exceptional guest experiences. As we continue to grow across

the state, weโ€™re seeking strong leaders to join our Camp Washington team and help us uphold

the highest operational standards in a fast-paced, regulated retail environment.

Position Overview

The Dispensary Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of an adult-use cannabis

dispensary licensed under Ohioโ€™s Division of Cannabis Control (DCC). This role ensures full

regulatory compliance, manages team performance, maintains secure product handling, and

delivers first-class experience to customers aged 21 and over.

Compliance Security

โ— Enforce all DCC regulations, including customer age verification, purchase limits, and

advertising restrictions.

โ— Maintain 24/7 video surveillance, secure access points, and alarm systems.

โ— Conduct daily inventory audits, loss prevention reviews, and discrepancy reporting in

Metrc.

โ— Ensure ID verification and customer access protocols are strictly followed.

โ— Maintain transaction records, destruction logs, employee certifications, and incident

reports.

Team Leadership

โ— Supervise, coach, and schedule budtenders, receptionists, and floor staff across shifts.

โ— Train new hires in Ohio cannabis law, customer service, and POS operation.

โ— Lead team huddles to discuss promotions, safety, and DCC updates.

โ— Hold employees accountable for compliance, accuracy, and professionalism.

Retail Operations

โ— Support the sales floor, manage customer flow, and assist during high-volume periods.

โ— Resolve escalated guest concerns and ensure compliant resolutions.

โ— Oversee product displays, signage, and promotional adjustments within regulatory limits.

โ— Monitor inventory movement, coordinate restocks and verify expiration and packaging

compliance.

Reporting Communication

โ— Prepare and submit daily sales, incident, and discrepancy reports to management.

โ— Liaise with inspectors, vendors, and state agencies during audits and visits.

โ— Stay informed on evolving DCC rules and communicate changes to the team.

Requirements

โ— Must be 21 years of age or older.

โ— High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree

preferred.

โ— Minimum 2 years of retail leadership or supervisory experience (cannabis preferred).

โ— Working knowledge of Ohio adult-use cannabis laws (ORC 3780 OAC 1301:18) or

willingness to complete compliance training.

โ— Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

โ— Proficiency with POS and inventory systems such as Dutchie, BioTrack, and Metrc.

Working Conditions

โ— Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

โ— Frequent standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

โ— Must successfully complete a DCC background check and fingerprinting process.
