Lonestar Electric Supply is looking for an OEM Sales Manager who will play a fundamental role in helping us achieve our ambitious OEM customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and capable of using their communication and leadership skills to work with internal and external partners successfully. They must be comfortable presenting in front of groups, making and receiving calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. They will also have a strong desire to provide superior Customer Service to exceed customer goals and expectations and follow our passion to MAKE IT HAPPEN. 


Responsibilities:

  • Own the P&L performance of the OEM vertical, including revenue growth, margin management, and account retention
  • Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of OEM accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic customers
  • Identify and pursue new OEM business development opportunities within the Houston market and broader territory
  • Serve as a key point of contact for our OEM vendor partners, driving joint performance goals, co-developing account strategies, and resolving escalations
  • Own vendor inventory strategy for the OEM vertical, working closely with vendor partners on stocking levels, product selection, and availability to ensure the right inventory is in place to support customer demand
  • Evaluate and select supporting/secondary vendors where appropriate to strengthen product coverage, pricing competitiveness, or service reliability for OEM accounts
  • Monitor account-level performance data (year-over-year trends, notable movers, at-risk accounts) and proactively address gaps or opportunities
  • Collaborate with outside sales reps and counter sales staff supporting OEM customers to ensure consistent service and account coverage
  • Lead pricing strategy and quoting decisions for OEM accounts, balancing competitiveness with margin targets
  • Represent Lonestar in customer negotiations, escalations, and business reviews
  • Provide regular reporting and account reviews to Industrial Division leadership
  • Ensure smooth resolution of order, shipping, and vendor issues (e.g., packing list discrepancies, freight claims) affecting OEM customers

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of sales or account management experience in electrical distribution, industrial products, or a related B2B industrial market
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business, ideally with OEM or manufacturing customers
  • Strong understanding of electrical products, distribution economics, and manufacturer/vendor relationship management
  • Comfortable working with data - pricing analysis, account performance tracking, and margin management
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage both customer and vendor dynamics
  • Self-directed, organized, and comfortable owning outcomes for a full vertical
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently. 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
