POSITION SUMMARY: The Internal Facilitator will provide technical support for CMSD's CIS and ATSI schools by coaching teacher-based teams and building leadership teams and assisting with the accumulation and submission of compliance data to ODE.
The position will facilitate the collection and submission of compliance data in support of the building Principal and District Personnel, analyze school achievement data (formative and summative) to assist teaching staff in better meeting the needs of students, and assist the Building Leadership Team in monitoring implementation of building strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Duties may include but are not limited to the following areas:
  • Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including model implementation and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare compliance documentation such as Assurance Designation, Implementation Indicator Plan, Quarterly Monitoring Reports, etc.
  • Update the ODE online Monitoring Tool with the input of data pertaining to professional development and short-cycle assessments. Duties also include uploading quality evidence to support the implementation of school improvement indicators.
  • Gather and maintain accurate data and records to document school improvement activities and services provided.
  • Provide support to teachers, building leadership teams and principal, in the analysis, interpretation and utilization of school and student data (formative and summative).
  • Provide support to teachers, building leadership teams and principal to ensure a clear understanding of assessment results and support to adjust instruction based on data analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of school improvement initiatives such as formative (short cycle) assessments, professional development, and data driven instruction in partnership with Instructional Staff, Curriculum Coaches, the Grant Implementation Manager, and Administrative Staff.
  • Work closely with the State Support Team to ensure progress toward increased student achievement and ODE/USDOE compliance.
  • Attend district and ESC meetings.
  • Provide assistance to principals, as needed, with school improvement requirements.
