Job description

Job Title: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Location: Oxford, NC

Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care center

Shifts: Mon - Fri with rotating weekends

 

Urgent Care NP Responsibilities:

  • Providing care to patients with Urgent needs
  • Educating patients and their families about their condition and what they should expect from the treatment plan
  • Performing examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the patient's condition
  • Communicating with physicians to determine the best care plan for every patient

 

Qualifications:

  • State-mandated nursing license(s)
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing with a focus in Urgent care
  • Previous nursing experience preferred
  • Availability to work odd hours
  • Knowledge of Urgent conditions and treatments
  • Ability to perform diagnostic tests and administer medication
