Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon

Position Overview
Ochsner Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery to join our growing Orthopedic Surgery team. This is a clinical and academic-focused role within an integrated healthcare system, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in education, and contribute to research initiatives. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.

  • Focused practice in foot and ankle surgery
  • Collaboration with a team of orthopedic surgeons and podiatrists
  • Opportunities for teaching medical students & residents
  • Participation in clinical research (encouraged)
  • Supported by a team of orthopedic professionals, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and certified therapists
  • Clinical locations include:
    • Ochsner Hospital for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine
    • Ochsner Medical Center (Greater New Orleans area)
  • Shared call rotation at Ochsner Medical Center

Qualifications

  • Board Certification or Board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
  • Eligible for or currently licensed to practice in Louisiana
  • Commitment to excellent clinical care, teamwork, and patient experience
