Job description

Moore Tulsa is currently seeking an Hayabusa/OCE/ Laser Operator. The Digital Press Operator is responsible for setting up print jobs and the overall direction and productivity. Responsibilities include verifying the stock, ink and text of printed documents are correct and match the work order.

Hours: Days: Must be available at all time from 5am-5pm.
Days: 3/4 4/3 rotation
REQUIRED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Excellent Attendance is a MUST
  • Willing to work as a team member
  • Ability to set-up and run a minimum of two different press types
  • Set up Lazer in accordance with industry specifications
  • Verify information on work order is correct
  • Make Lazer standard adjustments as required to ensure quality standards are met
  • Meet or exceed print efficiency standards r
  • Complete daily & weekly paperwork as required
  • Strong grasp of workflow, processes and procedures
  • Complete maintenance logs and report press downtime as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of press & press area
  • Ability to use PMS color matching book & densitometer to measure dot characteristics and colorspace
  • Cross train in a minimum of one other area
  • Work in other areas as needed
  • Assume other responsibilities as assigned
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Good Math Skills
  • Must be able to consistently lift 50lbs
  • Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about the facility

Desired Skills and Abilities:
  • Utilize proprietary software to set-up all jobs assigned
  • Learn to perform basic machine maintenance
  • Exhibit knowledge related to all adjustments of the Lasers to keep them running smoothly and efficiently
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and consistently meet or exceed production goals that are set by management daily
  • Actively participates in the continuous improvement process for quality control, productivity, and operating procedures
  • Train co-workers as requested

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma Preferred
  • Computer experience Preferred
  • Production Experience Preferred

Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
