Role: Business Intelligence Developer – Data Warehousing & Analytics

Location

Albany, NY
Candidates must currently reside in Albany, NY or a daily drivable surrounding area

Duration

12 Months (Contract)

Work Authorization

US Citizen or Green Card only

Work Arrangement

  • Onsite required for first 30 days

  • 50% remote eligible after probation

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to support enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions using Oracle, OBIEE, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL development, complex SQL, and OBIEE reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data warehouse and business intelligence solutions

  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes

  • Design relational and star schema data models

  • Build and maintain OBIEE RPD (Physical, Business, and Presentation layers)

  • Develop OBIEE dashboards, analyses, scorecards, and reports

  • Create reports using OBIEE BI/XML Publisher

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams

  • Submit weekly timesheets and status reports

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of data warehouse development experience

  • 5+ years of experience in database design and data modeling

  • 5+ years of experience with OBIEE RPD development

  • 5+ years of experience building OBIEE dashboards and reports

  • Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and data warehouse concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Security (roles, privileges, VPD)

  • Experience using Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB)

  • Unix/Linux Korn shell scripting experience (AIX or RHEL preferred)

  • Experience with Attunity Compose for ETL development
