Job description

Job Summary:
Spatial Front, Inc. is a recognized workplace seeking a Business Intelligence Team Lead to enhance their BI capabilities. The role involves leading a team to deliver Oracle-based reporting solutions, manage stakeholder requirements, and ensure data-driven insights for Federal Government clients.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of BI analysts and developers, providing technical direction, mentorship, day-to-day guidance, and performance oversight.
• Provide hands-on technical support for Oracle-based BI reporting, dashboard development, analytics, and data visualization efforts.
• Define, implement, and maintain BI standards, development practices, reporting processes, and delivery expectations for the program.
• Oversee the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, analytics products, data models, and related BI deliverables.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, program leadership, and technical teams to gather, refine, document, and prioritize BI and reporting requirements.
• Translate mission, operational, and business requirements into effective Oracle analytics reporting solutions.
• Work with data warehouse and analytics table schemas, including fact tables, dimension tables, reporting views, subject areas, metrics, joins, and data relationships.
• Support data mapping, data validation, data quality review, reporting logic documentation, and issue resolution.
• Create dashboards and reporting products that track key metrics based on requirements, operational priorities, and user feedback.
• Support data preparation, integration, validation, and transformation activities required to deliver accurate and reliable analytics reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve BI reporting through better data quality, clearer data mappings, improved reporting logic, and more effective use of available analytics capabilities.
• Present BI findings, reporting insights, trends, metrics, and recommendations to senior government stakeholders and program leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, dashboard development, or data visualization.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading technical BI, reporting, analytics, or data development teams.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Experience designing, developing, maintaining, or supporting dashboards, reports, analytics products, and data visualizations in an Oracle analytics environment.
• Experience working with data warehouse and data analytics table schemas, including fact tables, dimension tables, reporting views, subject areas, metrics, joins, and data relationships.
• Experience analyzing source data structures and translating data into reporting, dashboard, and analytics requirements.
• Experience supporting data mapping, data validation, data quality review, and documentation of reporting logic.
• Experience with Oracle relational database environments, preferably Oracle RDBMS 19c.
• Demonstrated ability to lead BI solution delivery, manage stakeholder requirements, provide technical oversight, and communicate reporting insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
Preferred:
• Experience with both Oracle Analytics Server and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) or Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA).
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Publisher or Oracle BI Publisher.
• Experience developing or supporting Oracle analytics subject areas, semantic models, reporting layers, dashboards, and analytics catalogs.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, reporting layer design, and analytics pipeline support.
• Experience with ETL processes, data preparation, data integration, and analytics data pipelines.
• Experience supporting BI teams or analytics delivery for DoD or Federal Government programs.
• Oracle Analytics certification, Oracle database certification, or equivalent Oracle-focused BI/data analytics certification.
