Job description

OBGYN Position - Exciting Opportunity in a Scenic Lakeside Community

We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established OBGYN practice located in a picturesque lakeside community, just an hour's drive from the beautiful coastal city of Charleston, SC. This role is situated on the hospital campus and is supported by a dedicated team, including nurses, medical assistants, and two midwives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a call schedule of 1:3, with midwives handling the initial call.
  • Provide care in a Level 1 nursery with a pediatrician available on-site.
  • Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12 PM.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Board certification in OBGYN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Working Conditions

This position is based in a modern facility that is licensed for 81 beds and features a recent 47,000 square foot expansion. This includes new operating rooms, an emergency department, a same-day surgery center, and larger patient rooms, along with a Health and Fitness Center.
