Job description

Summary: OB/GYN Locum needed for clinic and call coverage. The office setting is shared with multiple specialties. The OB practice area is made up of 2 OB/GYN, 2 FPBO, and 2 CNM. St. Elizabeth is a critical access hospital located in a beautiful community setting.
Rate Caps for Submission:
Malpractice - Must be included in rates.
Orientation - half the hourly/callback rate*** kicks in after 8 hours. "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
Hourly - under *** - "Per hour, not OT"
Holiday - Must be 1.5x the regular rates "Per holiday hour, no OT"
On Call (Daily) - under *** - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - *** - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
Call Back - under *** - "Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms."
Holiday Call Back - *** - "Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms."
Average worked Callback Hours: weekday - 3-4h, weekend - 1-2h; weekday less than 50% weekday, weekends and ER.

Dealbreakers: Low risk, high risk, and FHR interpretation required. Routine delivery and complicated delivery. Repair of 3rd-4th degree lacerations. C-sections- must be willing to help and supervise if needed. Must be comfortable handling OB inductions from group, mostly emergent GYN surgeries.

Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:
25 bed critical access hospital with 3 L&D beds and 4 post partum beds. Level I Nursery, Level I Trauma only 36 weeks and above.
- LI Nursery: late term and term deliveries. Less than 50% callback weekday, weekends, and ER. 90% low risk pregnancy, 10% high risk, 20% surgical gyn. No other OB/GYN present during locum coverage. Low risk, high risk, and FHR interpretation required. Routine delivery and complicated delivery. Repair of 3rd-4th degree lacerations. GYN ER normal scope of practice- D+Cs, Ectopics, ER consults, etc. High risk patients get transferred to Tacoma. Peds currently done by CNMs/FPOBS. L+D staffed with 2-3 RNs. 3 operation rooms on 2nd floor. L&D 3rd floor. C-Sections recovered in L+D. Providers include CNMs, FPOBs who do C-Sections. Must be able to help and supervise if needed. Anesthesia CRNA's and OR staff have 30 min response time. Currently doing VBACs. Will occasionally receive transfers from local Client midwives. Must be comfortable handling OB inductions from group, mostly emergent GYN surgeries. 20-30 deliveries/month, high risk 10 or less.
Typical Cases: OB: low risk/high risk, ultrasounds, amniocentesis. L&D: routine/complicated, VBACs, C-Sections. GYN: GYN Surgery

The PDF must be uploaded into TRIO in the "Candidate Documents" section under the locum's submission page.
The PDF title should include the locum's name, site location, and specialty (ex. Dr. John Smith Good Samaritan Physician Nephrology)
An up-to-date CV (solely) is still required to submit in "Name Clear Documents" initially when sending a new name clear. Vendors will have until bid due date to submit a PDF of ALL presentation documents. If PDF is not submitted, TRIO will not clear provider.
