Overview
Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Cary, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful.
Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.
Position Highlights:
  • Join an established and successful practice that has served patients in the Raleigh Metro area for over 30 years
  • The practice team has 6 OB/GYN physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, 2 certified nurse midwives along with an excellent support staff
  • Office locations in Cary and Morrisville
  • 3 clinic days per week
  • Clinic patient volume:15-20 per day
  • 1 day per week of call with Saturday and Sundays counted as normal days

Requirements:
  • AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
  • Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
  • Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
  • CPR and NALS Certification
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
