Oasis of Hope Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, focusing on specific emotional and relational challenges that clients encounter during their rehabilitation journey.
  • Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' emotional states, relational dynamics, and recovery objectives, and subsequently develop customized treatment plans that merge mental health and rehabilitation goals.
  • Employ family systems theory and targeted therapeutic techniques to promote effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies among clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionalsโ€”including physical therapists and physiciansโ€”to create cohesive therapeutic strategies that support the overall wellness of each client.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during high-stress moments, ensuring clients feel secure and understood.
  • Maintain systematic and confidential documentation of client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, in strict adherence to ethical and legal standards.
  • Educate clients and their families on the emotional aspects of rehabilitation, facilitating discussions around coping mechanisms and techniques to foster healthier family interactions.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by keeping abreast of latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy as well as rehabilitation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals and families battling emotional distress, relationship issues, and mental health challenges in the context of rehabilitation. Qualifications
  • A current marriage and family therapist (LMFT) license to practice in California.
