Oasis of Hope Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote position. • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, focusing on specific emotional and relational challenges that clients encounter during their rehabilitation journey.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' emotional states, relational dynamics, and recovery objectives, and subsequently develop customized treatment plans that merge mental health and rehabilitation goals.
• Employ family systems theory and targeted therapeutic techniques to promote effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies among clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals—including physical therapists and physicians—to create cohesive therapeutic strategies that support the overall wellness of each client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during high-stress moments, ensuring clients feel secure and understood.
• Maintain systematic and confidential documentation of client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, in strict adherence to ethical and legal standards.
• Educate clients and their families on the emotional aspects of rehabilitation, facilitating discussions around coping mechanisms and techniques to foster healthier family interactions.
• Engage in continuous professional development by keeping abreast of latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy as well as rehabilitation.

The clients you will serve include individuals and families battling emotional distress, relationship issues, and mental health challenges in the context of rehabilitation. Our clientele ranges from those recovering from substance use disorders to individuals experiencing significant life transitions. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping them find balance and restore their emotional and relational health.

• A current marriage and family therapist (LMFT) license to practice in California.
• A master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate understanding and rapport with clients.
• A commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential therapeutic practices, ensuring clients' trust and safety.
• Ability to engage effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting or familiarity with the recovery process is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in using teletherapy platforms and remote communication tools to deliver therapy and maintain client engagement.
• A background in conflict resolution and family systems therapy will be advantageous.

• Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000 based on experience and qualifications.
