TrueTandem is seeking experienced, skilled, and passionate Senior O365 and Azure Cloud Engineers to support enterprise-wide Microsoft cloud implementation and maintenance projects for large U.S. Federal government agencies. Ideal candidates possess the technical depth, problem-solving ability, and curiosity to drive solutions across O365, Azure, and related Microsoft cloud services throughout their lifecycle.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
            Configure and manage Microsoft Office 365 (O365) applications and services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, and Outlook.
            Support migrations from on-premises systems to O365 and Azure.
            Plan, design, and implement identity solutions in Azure AD, ensuring secure synchronization and federation where required.
            Enhance security posture by configuring and managing Azure Sentinel, Defender, identity protection, and other security features.
            Implement and manage virtual environments for desktops and servers, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions.
            Review and enforce governance and policy compliance across Azure and O365 environments.
            Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell, including leveraging reusable ISD solutions where applicable.
            Conduct application, workload, and data migrations (including Exchange and SharePoint).
            Ensure data protection through governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and SharePoint security measures.
            Provide Ops Center support for Azure and O365 services as required
 
Required Skills
       An active TS/SCI with polygraph.
       Minimum of five (5) years of Tier II or three (3) years of Tier III Microsoft O365 support.
       3+ years configuring and administering Microsoft 365 environments, including user management and security.
       Hands-on experience with Azure deployments, identity design, synchronization, and related networking elements.
       Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and migration strategies.
       Proven experience with Azure governance, policies, and subscription management.
       Experience configuring and managing security tools (Sentinel, Defender, identity protection).
       Advanced proficiency scripting in PowerShell to automate O365 and Azure tasks.
       Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues across cloud services.
 
Preferred Skills
        Microsoft Administrator, Azure, or Security certifications.
        Experience with O365 automation and governance design.
        Understanding of networking concepts and their relation to O365 and Azure connectivity.
        Familiarity with workload/application migrations and hybrid cloud environments.
 
 
$175,000 - $190,000 a year

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, TrueTandem considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
