Job description

Job Summary:
TrueTandem is a trusted information technology solutions provider committed to the success of its customers, communities, and employees. They are seeking experienced Senior O365 and Azure Cloud Engineers to support enterprise-wide Microsoft cloud implementation and maintenance projects for large U.S. Federal government agencies.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Configure and manage Microsoft Office 365 (O365) applications and services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, and Outlook.
โ€ข Support migrations from on-premises systems to O365 and Azure.
โ€ข Plan, design, and implement identity solutions in Azure AD, ensuring secure synchronization and federation where required.
โ€ข Enhance security posture by configuring and managing Azure Sentinel, Defender, identity protection, and other security features.
โ€ข Implement and manage virtual environments for desktops and servers, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions.
โ€ข Review and enforce governance and policy compliance across Azure and O365 environments.
โ€ข Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell, including leveraging reusable ISD solutions where applicable.
โ€ข Conduct application, workload, and data migrations (including Exchange and SharePoint).
โ€ข Ensure data protection through governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and SharePoint security measures.
โ€ข Provide Ops Center support for Azure and O365 services as required
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข An active TS/SCI with polygraph.
โ€ข Minimum of five (5) years of Tier II or three (3) years of Tier III Microsoft O365 support.
โ€ข 3+ years configuring and administering Microsoft 365 environments, including user management and security.
โ€ข Hands-on experience with Azure deployments, identity design, synchronization, and related networking elements.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and migration strategies.
โ€ข Proven experience with Azure governance, policies, and subscription management.
โ€ข Experience configuring and managing security tools (Sentinel, Defender, identity protection).
โ€ข Advanced proficiency scripting in PowerShell to automate O365 and Azure tasks.
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues across cloud services.
Preferred:
โ€ข Microsoft Administrator, Azure, or Security certifications.
โ€ข Experience with O365 automation and governance design.
โ€ข Understanding of networking concepts and their relation to O365 and Azure connectivity.
โ€ข Familiarity with workload/application migrations and hybrid cloud environments.
