We currently have a need for a Senior Environmental Project Manager in our Mineola, NY Office (25% field work required).

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.


  • Manage environmental compliance projects for public facilities, including schools (NYC SCA experience preferred)
  • Oversee and direct a large field staff conducting asbestos, PCB, and lead-based paint (LBP) surveys and abatements
  • Ensure full compliance with EPA, NYS, and NYC DEP regulations related to asbestos, lead paint, and mold
  • Provide hands-on leadership and support for field operations and project execution
  • Prepare, review, and maintain detailed technical reports and ensure proper document control
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets
  • Collaborate with accounting and billing teams to ensure accurate project close-out

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in hazmat code compliance, preferably with public facilities
  • Strong knowledge of EPA, NYS, and NYC DEP regulations related to asbestos, lead paint, and mold
  • Required certifications:
  • NYS DOL Asbestos Inspector
  • Project Designer
  • Project Monitor
  • OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certifications required
  • Proven experience managing field staff and complex environmental projects
  • Strong report writing and document control skills
  • Experience in budget preparation and financial management

The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on the individual candidate's qualifications and location.
