WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We are seeking a passionate and high-energy Network Pre-Sales System Engineer ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in enterprise networking, with a flair for data center or optical technologies, and a strong understanding of AI infrastructure. In this role, you will build strong customer relationships and help drive key deals across global accounts.

You get to bring your passion for technology coupled with execution to a global set of customers. Day-to-day responsibilities will include actively participating in customer sales meetings, driving presentations of technical solutions, whiteboarding, custom technical design, and properly scoping out services-related work. You will team with your sales counterparts to build and nurture customer relationships, partner with multiple OEMs, and consistently seek areas of value for our customers. Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged, as you explore new areas of interest and stay at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies.

You will be enthusiastic and passionate about IT and networking, and thrive in a dynamic, expanding company. You'll have opportunities to work independently and collaboratively, and will be supported to grow to your full potential.

This role requires 40%–50% domestic and international travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of some or all of the following technologies: Software defined architecture, (SD-WAN , SD-LAN) Data centre technologies (ACI, VMware, VDI etc) Security solutions (NGFW, ZTN, SASE) and knowledge of AI infrastructure (Nvidia, low latency network architecture).
  • Familiarity with major networking vendors, e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Nvidia HPE-Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, etc
  • Adept at using initiative, discretion, and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities.
  • Ability to translate design requirements into BOMs and partnering with procurement to generate quotes
  • Experience of customer interactions with technical staff.
  • Knowledge of sales cycle.
  • Impactful verbal and written communication and good presentation skills.
  • Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives.
  • Good understanding of the market space and offerings.
  • Previous experience working for a VAR is ideal

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Solid understanding of technologies such as campus networking (L2/L3), SDx & programmability, datacenter & cloud, AI Infra, and security.
  • Strong industry knowledge and operational empathy
  • 5+ yrs of pre-sales engineering or related experience
  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE or JNCIE, or Arista L5 certifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Write and speak English fluently.
  • Most of all a team player with a passion of technology and the impact it can make on our customers businesses, someone who helps others, likes to get involved, and have fun

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience supporting global enterprise clients across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and how networking impacts performance in high-compute environments.
  • Exposure to hyperscaler environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud networking architectures.
  • Understanding of optical networking technologies and low-latency infrastructure for AI clusters.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) for network orchestration.
  • Ability to create and deliver technical enablement sessions or workshops for internal teams or clients.
  • Multilingual capabilities or experience working in multilingual environments.
  • Prior involvement in RFP/RFI processes and technical proposal development.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in IT infrastructure and data center design.
  • Active participation in industry forums, certifications, or technical communities (e.g., Cisco Live, NANOG, etc.).
