Job description

We are seeking a Chemist II to conduct accurate and timely nutritional analyses for food, dietary supplements, and related products using validated methods and advanced instrumentation.


Responsibilities include performing chemical analyses, operating and troubleshooting instruments (including GC-FID), managing data and QA/QC processes, maintaining SOPs and ISO 17025 compliance, supporting method development and optimization, and mentoring junior staff. The role also involves prioritizing laboratory workflows, managing inventory, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field with 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience. Strong background in quantitative nutritional analysis, QA/QC standards (AOAC, USP, ISO, FDA), analytical instrumentation, data analysis, and method troubleshooting. Experience with GC-FID, MS/MS systems, and laboratory software preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills required.


Preferred:
Experience with HRMS, analytical and extraction method development, food contaminant analysis, international laboratory environments, and emerging analytical technologies.
