As a Nutrition Services Worker, you'll be at the forefront of creating a vibrant atmosphere by delivering top-notch food service to residents, guests, and employees. Essential Job Functions
  • Spread joy to our residents as you deliver them delightful meals in both the dining room and through room service.
  • Be the friendly face taking food orders from various departments.
  • Dish out some fun while cleaning dishes for each department, operating dishwashing equipment, and ensuring a tidy kitchen.
  • Sparkle and shine by cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen.
  • Empty trash containers when needed.
  • Assist in maintaining workstations with a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Play a key role in the nutrition services team by assisting in receiving, labeling, and storing food and supplies.
  • Dance through your cleaning assignments, making each shift shine.
  • Work your magic with dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment, following defined work routines.
  • Be helpful to the cook for food preparation assistance when needed.
  • Assist in completing meal service at scheduled times.
  • Assist with resident diet cards, taking orders, preparing food carts and serving meals with skillful technique.
  • Be the dining room hero by setting it up efficiently and serving residents with finesse.
  • Brush up on your knowledge of Federal, State, and facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures with a smile.
  • Embrace the spirit of teamwork with enthusiasm in all other assigned tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of:
  • Various kitchen equipment functions

  • Use and care of equipment, tools and materials used in food preparation activities.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
  • Prior dishwashing and service experience preferred

Special Requirements
  • Obtain/maintain Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Card at employee's expense.
  • Obtain/maintain CPR Certification.
  • Complete annual Tuberculosis Testing.
  • Complete required 12 hours of annual in-service training.
  • Obtain/maintain valid Food Handlers Card.
  • Mandated federal, state, and local communicable disease testing as required.
