Salary Range encompasses hourly base + commission

The specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience and location.   

**This position is eligible to work remotely from home. Candidate MUST be located in the Raleigh, NC area to visit local clients in the surrounding areas.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing strategies and tactics for identifying, pursuing and closing opportunities for renting portable storage solutions across a variety of industry segments. This position requires new business generation, attention to detail, building customer relationships and working collaboratively across the organization to provide accurate estimates and excellent customer service.

“What You’ll Do”

  • Develop new and grow existing business to increase profits for the branch/region.
  • Develop relationships and communicate with customers via phone, email or occasional in person visits.
  • Build relationships with potential customers to establish trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge to answer customer questions and inquiries and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Close customer deals through generated leads and telephone prospecting.
  • Increase market share in both new and established markets.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members, operations and the inventory center staff to provide solutions to customers and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Place a high volume of quality outbound phone calls for the purpose of building. relationships and matching our products and services to each customer's needs.
  • Maintain accurate records in the division’s database on customer quotes, specifications and special requests; meet minimum entry requirements daily.
  • Develop relationships within various networking organizations or industry associations.
  • Achieve/exceed sales related quotas and goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

“Must Haves”

    • 3-5 Years of Sales Experience 
    • Proven experience in sales, preferably in both inside and outside sales.
    • Effective negotiation and closing skills.
    • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
    • Commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate ideas in verbal, email and other written formats.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of motivation and a passion for sales.
    • Proficiency with various computer programs including Microsoft Suite, Internet and other customer databases.
    • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with both customers and sales team while paying attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
    • Effective time management and able to work in a process driven environment.
    • Confident, assertive, quick-thinking and able to make decisions within established guidelines.  

“Nice to Haves”

  • Prior experience in construction or other related industries.
