We are hiring for a Nutrition Specialist at our Pemberton Plaza Save-On-Foods location in North Vancouver, BC.

The successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week.


You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting, answering questions and providing information on natural health products, supplements and solutions to customers.

  • Providing product, nutrition and recipe suggestions and recommendations.

  • Supporting the coordination and facilitation of in-store health events and other related programs and services including food and product demonstrations.

  • Inventory management including ordering, stocking, rotating, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization of the health department.

  • Supporting with setting up in-store promotional displays.

  • Maintaining planograms for the health department.

  • Coaching and mentoring team members within the department to support their ongoing development.

You have:

  • Experience as a Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Practitioner, or equivalent credentials.

  • Experience in retail Wellness and cross-selling.

  • Knowledge of various health and vitamin products and services available with the ability to effectively demonstrate use of products.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and engage with customers on a regular basis.

  • Passion for outstanding service.

  • Strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.

  • Sense of humor and a fun attitude at work.
