Dental Hygienist - Toupin Dental & Associates

Toupin Dental and Associates in Novi, MI, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our friendly and loyal team! Enjoy working in a beautiful office with a cozy "Up-North" atmosphere, where collaboration and patient care are at the forefront.

Job Duties

  • Conduct patient screenings, including oral health assessments, health history review, oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, and vital signs
  • Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
  • Follow office protocols for quality assurance, infection control, emergency procedures, implants, perio programs, and preventive care
  • Demonstrate proficiency in dental prophylaxis, including the use of Cavitron/Prophy Jet
  • Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluorides
  • Make impressions for study casts as needed
  • Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutritional counseling, and oral care techniques
  • Foster a caring and respectful environment, addressing patients’ needs and concerns
  • Perform periodontal charting and document treatment
  • Maintain a sterile, organized working environment and properly stock supplies and equipment
  • Support overall patient care while promoting positive patient/staff rapport
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of applicable computer functions and assist with recall systems

  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
